What does this look like?

My DD is 5 weeks + 3 days. We’ve had quite hot weather the past couple of days and I’m wondering if this may be heat rash? It’s not bothering her. I’ve taken her clothes off to allow air to get to it but I’m worried it’s something serious? She’s had it the past couple of days and it only really seems to be on her neck and chest. Maybe a little on her back but it’s not on her legs or arms at all.

What do you think?

As she's so little I'd ring the doctor/111. Don't take any chances with rashes.

Another vote for 111

I would give 111 a call. As the others have said it's best to be cautious with rashes, especially when they are so young.

@JiltedJohnsJulie ok so I rang them at 14.30 when I told you I was on the phone to them, spoke to a healthcare adviser who asked some questions. She then said a nurse would ring me back. Then, 2 hours later a nurse rang back and asked the same set of questions, she then went on to say she wants DD to be seen in clinic since she’s so young so she put a request for her to be seen within the next 2 hours and said due to covid, she wasn’t able to offer an appointment and that a GP would ring and offer me an appointment. Anyway, a GP never rang, just another nurse and she asked more questions and then said as long as DD is fine within herself, the symptoms don’t sound worrying and to leave it. She said if the rash is still there by Wednesday then to call our GP practice or if the symptoms get worse then to call back. That was it. So, I’m still non the wiser on exactly what this rash is.

@HollowTalk thankyou.
