5 month old off her bottle?

Just wondered if anyone else has experienced this?

My lg has been bottle fed from a few weeks old. She's never been an amazing feeder, but for almost 2 weeks now she's been taking much less. She doesn't seem unwell, she's a bit grumpy but I think that's because she's discovered things she wants to do but can't quite manage yet! I did think she was teething, her gums were very red, two little 'slits' appeared, and she was drooling like mad but it's been over a week and no teeth have cut so I'm not sure!

She seems to be struggling to actually suck her bottle, we moved her up to fast flow teats and things improved a bit. But she seems to suck for ages and not get very much for her effort. She's gone from between 30-33oz a day to anything between 18-28.

I know it's probably just a phase. She's sleeping well at night, plenty of wet and dirty nappies. But it's still a bit stressful when they just won't eat, surely she has to be hungry?!

Thank you so much for the reply.

She has had issues with reflux and silent reflux in the past so I'm giving her gaviscon again to see if that helps her. Will definitely get in touch with the gp again and see if they have any suggestions.
