again!!! i have found out its twins (again) will be using washables and had my heart set on swaddlebees, but having tried out some pocket nappies (wonderoos) i really think they are going to be more practical as first nappies, will have to be newborn size as twins likely to be diddy and early!

HELP!!!!!!!!

Ooh preemie sized fuzzis in colours

I still find 2 part more reliable with newborn poo though

preggersagain · 13/09/2007 15:20

i find 2 part-ers a bit too much of a flaff now that i've had pockets!!! so swaddlebees it is then for full time use and fuzzis for out and about/changing bag/babysitters??

Sounds like a fine plan to me! You could do the smallest setting on the wonderoos to save money, but the fuzzis look so neat

(Have you seen my cottontails thread? Those are great )

preggersagain · 13/09/2007 15:36

i was lookign at that earlier- who makes them then and have you got any piccies etc?

wonderoos on a small setting still look like the'll drown a one year old! i figure i'm going to go for the tiny newborn ones for cuteness (swaddlebees/ fuzzis) then move on to a combo of sz1 teddies/bamboo and wonderoos, then when they grow out of sz 1 go to full daytime wonderoo use and fluffles at night!

Can you tell i'm not one for an easy life!

have you got nb fuzzis on your site? i don't stock them so i'll have to get the fuzzis from you!

OP posts:
Flamesparrow · 13/09/2007 15:44

I haven't got any in stock yet, but I can get them for yoooooooooooooou

I'm still waiting for the cottontails pics to come through to put up on my site, but the main site is www.cottontailnappy.com

preggersagain · 13/09/2007 16:09

ooh- they look nice, right hit me with it how much are the fuzzis? i'm thinking 8/10 if i'm gonna use swaddlebees mainly. and what colours do they come in?

Flamesparrow · 13/09/2007 16:30

£9.25 each (and will do a discount for 6 or more), come in white, pink, blue or sage.

nappyzone · 13/09/2007 19:21

oooooo newborn fuzzis - my fave - awwwww - congrats onthe twins - you say again does that mean you already have a set of twins? gawd

preggersagain · 14/09/2007 09:57

cheers flame- will find out what flavour they are then get back to you!

littlekiwibaby · 14/09/2007 11:52

oooh twins! congratulations! and a second set! I am soooo jealous of you (in a nice way of course). All mine were singletons and I always wanted to see the two little heartbeats at the scans.
All the very best!

nappyzone · 14/09/2007 21:53

if i ever saw two little heartbeats on any of my scans i think my little heartbeat would stop ! - you must be a superhuman supermum! now you need to rest!

preggersagain · 15/09/2007 09:38

nappyzone- if only!! i have to work until i drop literally- i am self employed and run 3 baby shops!!!! at least buying all the stuff is cheaper for me

not really a superhuman mum- just have a very good live in nanny !!

preggersagain · 15/09/2007 11:24

believe me without her i'd be quietly rocking away in the corner! but remember i also have to pay highly for this luxury which means i HAVE to work (or starve) i won't get any mat leave etc, work until i drop then back as soon as i can stand up! .

everyone on my an thread is talking about giving up work about 6 weeks before their due date i'd go round the bend spending six weeks staring at four walls!! when my waters break i'll nip home

OP posts:
Flamesparrow · 15/09/2007 11:50

6 WEEKS?!?! I had about 5 weeks, but that was only because I worked up to a week before MY due date with DD, and then she was 4 weeks late. It was hell.

preggersagain · 15/09/2007 12:47

I KNOW!! they'll all be going out of their minds (and spending an absolute fortune i would imagine!) needless to say they all think i'm bonkers i did think the other day "if only i had a proper job!"

nappyzone · 15/09/2007 16:07

with my first i left work on the fri and had her on the following thus so felt robbed of my laze about as she was 2 weeks early - determined not to be robbed the 2nd time my last day was something like the 28th august and he didnt arrive till 8th nov being 2 weeks late too - i was demented and climbing the walls! enjoyed being a slob though. (i used alot of hols). Oh the anticipation of it all!! My neighbours sister has employed a male live in nanny from italy, not sure my dh would be to keen on that!

littlekiwibaby · 15/09/2007 18:26

With my last baby I worked right up till going in to give birth (literally stopped work at 4:30 and then had him later that evening), was inside for 8 days, then came out and started work again the same day
the joys of working at home

Flamesparrow · 15/09/2007 18:31

I wouldn't even have that luxury LittleKiwi - homebirther so I would probably be sat there sorting advice emails between contractions and just after the birth

nappyzone · 15/09/2007 18:41

oooooo homebirth - dont do them round here unless you pay for it... im to much of a wuss anyway and id hate to ruin my crisp linen lol!

Flamesparrow · 15/09/2007 18:53

Lounge floor Soo nice to slide into your own bath, and then your own bed (with your husband next to you if you want) afterwards

nappyzone · 15/09/2007 18:56

after birth i want my hubby nowhere near me! only place i wanted him at was the vasectomy clinic!!!!

Flamesparrow · 15/09/2007 19:05

Believe me - he JUST lay next to me, none of this touching malarky

It was nice, I hated hospital sooo much, I was lonely and scared.
