I am undecided between the three. Please help!

We have a My Hummy. We got the little one which you can attach to the cot, you control it by an app on your phone. It has different sounds, volume settings, you can set it to run from anywhere between 5 mins to 12 hours. It also has a sensor so if baby stirs, it will start up again. It really worked for us!

Lots of people I know swear by the Sheep though!

We have a snuz cloud and an Ollie, and Ollie is waaaaay better. Louder (which is good) and on its brightest setting the lights are enough to change a nappy by.

MyHummy is much better than Ewan. I have the one that is connected to my phone and can control the volume, duration, sound type and whether or not it uses a sensor to come back on when the baby wakes up etc. To my recollection Ewan lasts 20 minutes and you have to press its leg to turn it back on each time. I don't know about the other mentioned though. I would definitely recommend MyHummy.

We've just got a free app called Baby Sleep which does exactly the same in terms of white noise, you can set it to go off after a certain time period - could be worth looking into before you spend actual money? Then we've got a grow clock (2nd hand) which was enough light to change nappies with when he was needing changing in the night/we were feeding him. He's now 13 months and we are still using the free app (he has different sounds at night and day) never felt the need to invest in an actual product.

Cardboard33 · 11/04/2020 15:31

It obviously works best though if you have an old phone that can just be used for white noise as otherwise one of you will be without your phone whilst they're napping!

FullOfCake · 11/04/2020 18:39

Don't buy the sheep. Honestly. It only lasts 20minutes which is the same length as a baby sleep cycle, so I spent the night CONSTANTLY hitting his bloody foot. We went for a myhummy. It worked fine but went through batteries or we needed to constantly charge rechargeable ones. And it only stays on for 12 hours which, on the odd occasion my little one wanted to sleep longer, or had been up a couple of times in the night, would stop and wake them up before they were ready. Second baby and we brought a white noise machine on amazon. Cheaper, no batteries and no time stop unless you choose it. Wish I had one the first time

We have the deluxe Ewan which has a selection of noises which come on if he makes noise, for 20 mins.

When DS was smaller we used white noise but an app on an old phone.

PammieDooveOrangeJoof · 11/04/2020 18:43

Oh we had a Ewan here (don’t use the glow feature if you get it as races through batteries) and so popular he still is using it again now after finding it the other day. He’s 7!

ScarfLadysBag · 11/04/2020 18:43

White noise machine, £10. Or an app on an old phone or tablet, free. We spent the £££ on a MyHummy but it was pointless.

Hoggleludo · 11/04/2020 18:51

I loved Ewan the dream sheep

SuziGeo · 11/04/2020 18:57

We have Percy the Penguin... Same as ollie the owl. We used the heartbeat setting for the first few weeks and now the white noise for naps/nighttime. I like the 3 volume settings and the light feature. I don't know if there is much difference in your 3 choices. We chose the penguin because we like penguins.

Fivebyfive2 · 11/04/2020 19:24

We have an ollie and our boy often falls asleep to the heartbeat noise. The lullaby used to calm him during nappy changes in the first week or so when it was an ordeal and the night light is good too. We just got it because I love owls to be honest 😂 I also have the free baby sleep ap and it's been fantastic, lots of sounds to try! I'm actually sitting typing this while playing 'washing machine' sounds as the boy sleeps 💤

BigRedBoat · 11/04/2020 19:32

We really liked Ollie the owl, although he does eat through batteries with the listening feature but it is worth it.

PanicAtTheDiscLo · 11/04/2020 19:34

Following because I’m torn between the Ollie and the snuzcloud. I work in a hospital with tiny babies and do not rate Ewan or Ewan delux at all.

HelloItsmeAgain1 · 11/04/2020 19:49

We got the sheep. Does wonders for some people, doesn't work for us. I'm having more luck with the Baby sleep all and there are all sorts of sounds on there and it's free.

HelloItsmeAgain1 · 11/04/2020 19:49

DS does like eating the sheep's face though.

HelloItsmeAgain1 · 11/04/2020 19:49

App not all

Fishbaby · 12/04/2020 10:47

I like Ollie. Personally I can't sleep without it!
