Silly question - socks with sandals?

I can't take 15 month old to Clark's for his next (fitted) shoes which will be sandals so I've ordered him a couple of pairs half a size up.

Here comes the silly question, do they wear socks with sandals/light shoes? And if so regular cotton ankle socks or do they do trainer socks?

Told you it was silly!! His feet get hot so I'd rather no socks but I like him to do a bit of walking when we go out I don't want the shoes rubbing - sorry 😐

The fashion police will come and take you away if you wear socks with sandals, regardless of age.

Properly fitted shoes shouldnt rub.

Last summer all the teens were wearing white socks with sliders.

Depends what the shoes are like, but mine didn't wear socks with the Clark's sandles.

I put socks on with my sons smart leather buckle sandals, but his casual velcro ones I don't as they're really comfy and I can throw them in the washing machine whenever!

Socks with sandals of toddlers look adorable, so go with it. Wait until they are pre school and refuse socks.... At this point crocs are great.

It's acceptable to wear socks with sandals when you're a toddler thankfully. Just don't let DH do it

@Cait73 im so sorry, i was trying to be funny and completely missed the bit where you couldnt get them fitted. I blame sleep deprivation and generally being a bit of an idiot, please ignore me.
