Are rubber dummies better? BIB experience?

I've always used silicon (MAM) only because they are easily found in high street shops when lo was born. I also heard silicon is more durable, but have recently been reading about rubber. Does anyone know if these are better for the environment and baby mouth? I'm wondering if I should switch.

Have seen a few celebs using BIB dummies and wondering if I should check them out.

We switched to bib dummies as I liked the look of them and with normal dummies my baby would get an indent on his cheeks (fat cheeks) but the bib dummies curve outward so don't indent his cheeks. He's taken to them well, but I can't tell you if they're better for the environment or not sorry!

Thanks @BumpLoading. I agree I also prefer the look. How do you sterilise them?
