But my god did she cry!!

She's Crawling, went to put hand up to grab top of the table and slipped smacking just above her temple on the glass shelf 😢

She cried for about 2-3 minutes and calmed down but there is no mark to speak of... Whatsoever! I called 111 and they were non plussed!

This was about 40 minutes ago and she's now jumping and laughing in her jumperoo. No sick, nothing come out nose or ears, pupils fine, but the lack of bump/bruise/Mark is really concerning me. She really did smack it. I was upstairs and heard it 😢

Please help!!!

What help do you need? Your child is fine.

Embracelife · 08/04/2020 17:06

Relax.
She is fine
Bruise may appear tomorrow
If jumping around d then relax

Poor thing - and I bet you got a shock too! I’ve given myself really hard bangs there too (dastardly forehead height furniture) and am fine.

The only help you need is a glass of wine or a cup of tea. She's fine! This will happen countless times. Babies are pretty sturdy.

Presumably 111 advised you to keep a close eye on her for any signs of concussion? If not I’d just google them, specific to babies, just to be on the safe side.

Thankyou all for your support. She's soundly sleeping now, had a good dinner and was happy playing up until bedtime. Still no bump or bruise though 🤷‍♀️I hate it when they do things like this!

It happens OP... a lot! Try not to worry and just be alert to any sudden sickness or extreme lethargy etc.
