Little kiwi nappies

Can anyone help me? I recently bought 2 medium bamboo and 2 medium light nappies. I thought they looked smaller than my other nappies but used them anyway. They are about to become redundant due to major builders bum! I think they have been labelled up wrong as the rise is 15.5/16 inches although the tabs are long enough in all four nappies. Little kiwi have told me that they have shrunk in the wash and there is nothing they can do about it as they have been used. I don't believe that they have shrunk and if they have then why would the different fabrics shrink to the same degree?? I feel very sad about this as they are a good design but they have lasted my toddler 2 months! he is 15 months now. anyone else had any problems????

I have a bamboo and a light and they are the same size as my other size 2 nappies, after several washes. Only at 40C though, and never tumbled.

Now you mention it, my quick flip stopped fitting suspiciously quickly, I thought I'd been dim and bought the wrong size (though I admit this is still possible

If they have been used then there is nothing they can do - that is perfectly reasonable otherwise other people could turn round and say they are the wrong size just because they have only had them a few weeks before a growth spurt. I have no issues with the rise on mine, but can't measure as it is in the wash at the moment.

The only thing that I would think could make it seem lower when on (obviously not when measuring) is where there is more fabric, it sort of pulls it down more where it is thicker (does that make sense) - also the bamboo often shrinks, it usually does it naturally the first wash but where we want to buy silky feeling bamboo, they can't wash the fabric before making the nappies.

If the material is to shrink then why not make them bigger to compensate? if i'd know i would have bought large. The thing is I don't tumble dry and ok I wash at 60 because 40 isn't hot enough to clean them properly. I wish I'd stuck to geobel - I still have to fold them down to fit!!!
