DS banged his head

DS nearly 3 was mucking about on our bed this afternoon and went to roll over to get off the bed and he rolled off our bed and banged the side his head just above his ear on our bed side table 😩
He rolled slowly and then kind of rolled off and down catching his head on the side of the bedside table as he went down then he ended up on the floor. The bedside table is the same height as the bed so he fell into it at that same sort of level and not from a great height.
He cried and a little egg cane up but once he calmed down he was laughing and joking around and playing again normally and happily.
I'm sooo worried he has done something inside his head like a bleed or something 😩🤦🏻‍♀️ Please can anyone put my mind at rest or share sinker experiences please I'm googling all sorts sat here and working myself into a frenzy 😩 xx

Try not to worry about it too much - my DS is a serial head banger (he ran with his head down into the tv stand today 😩) and if your DS is happy within himself, eating well over the next few days and doesn’t present any worrisome symptoms (excessive sleepiness, vomiting, low appetite, pupils not matching, clear liquid draining from ears or nose area - discounting snot of course Grin) he should be fine Smile

I usually go with if a bruise comes up on the skin all should be fine Smile

I was told by an a and e doctor that an egg on the outside is actually a good thing after a bump as it means the swelling is coming out rather than in. They explained it better than me.
It doesn't sound too bad at all. If it happened this afternoon and he's been fine for the rest of the day I don't think you need to do anything.
