Struggling hubby won't help

We have 5 children 13 year old twins boy and a girl, nearly 9 year old girl, 5 year old boy with special needs and a 3 year old boy.

Hubby is a construction manager but as they have now finally decided to shutdown (last week) he's at home full time.

Ok here goes! He finds it hard to bond without our 5 year old since finding out he has additional needs he's had help with understand his needs. (3 years ago) He won't help with getting him dressed, bathing him or even taking him for a walk. He doesn't sleep much so im trying to do everything on very little sleep.

Our youngest son is going through the threenager stage so everything is a battle and ends in tantrums the only time hubby steps in is to try and discipline because he can't stand the screaming. Just making things worse and making me feel like crap.

I've asked him a few times this week to take the older children out which he refuses and he is spending more and more time playing games on his computer that spending time with his children. I don't nag him to do any jobs around the house. All I'm asking him is to spend time with the children.

He sounds like a selfish prick, but I guess you know that already?

This isn't a parenting issue, it's a relationship issue.

I sometimes give my other half two options and he picks the one he would prefer to do Grin
