A new start with cloth night nappies

Ok so I'm still having dilemmas over ds' night nappy. I used cloth almost from the start at night but after going on holiday and using disposables and then putting him in the the remaining disposables at night to get rid of them.. I've lost my night nappy confidence! He's a big pee-er and a bimble qd inside a bambineo size 2 used to do him (but soaking in the morning although not through the wrap or anything) but dh complains it's too clumsy/ awkward blah blah blah.

I've decided to get a couple of dedicated night nappies instead of the mix and match from day nappies I was doing before.. I have a minki pocket and a huggle hopefully winging their way to me as I type. I have a ton of microfibre inserts for my wonderoos that I can use, can anyone advise how much stuffin these nappies might need?

Can't wait to try them out!!!

I too have dedicated night nappies, I use Babeco bamboo bootylicious with an extra booster in the pocket and a homemade fleece wrap over, DS goes for 12 hours overnight. Hes a heavy wetter and soaks a tots baboozle in less than two hours. It took me a few different combinations before we cracked it though. What ever you choose I would go for a fleece lined one so the wet is wicked away from the skin so they don't wake up because they feel wet.

Hi - question for Misspitstop re. the Bamboo Bootylicious nappies: I'm using Bamboozles, but also find they're soaked through after 2 hours. Do you recommend the Bootylicious nappies over a Bamboozle with an extra booster pad in? The only concern I have about the Bootylicious nappies is that they don't seem to hold their value for resale like the Bamboozles do - I know I'll be able to get most of my money back on these ready to fund the next size up! Thanks.
