A wonder week?

Hi guys

My daughter is just turned 12 weeks and for the last 2 days her wee personality has changed. She has stopped chatting and smiling as much. Bearly seems interested in doing much and won’t give much eye contact compared to how she was a few days ago.
I googled and people talked about a wonder week? I’d never heard of this.
I know it’s only been a few days but I worry about everything haha 🙈
I’ve been checking her temp and she’s been normal. Eating and pooing as normal.

Any ideas?

Around 12 weeks they do have a pretty big development leap which is what the wonder weeks refer to. There is an app you can download that I’ve found quite interesting. Your little one may also be having a growth spurt too. It is common for them to get grumpier, fight sleep, be fussier and harder to settle for a few days around the first few leaps. Around 4 months it can last a little longer and be more challenging but I also noticed the most changes after that one. Only thing I can recommend is staying consistent with bed time routine etc. If you usually put her down at 7 keep doing the bed time routine ready for 7 even if she takes longer to settle as once it’s over your still in that routine

There are general ages at which significant developments happen for a lot of children but the Wonder Weeks thing is ridiculous. There's no way children develop in the same way in such a narrow window with any discernible pattern.

It is very comforting when your baby is fussy or in pain or just doesn't seem themselves to be able to look at an app and be told it's because it's a cloudy week and the comfort people take from it feeds their confirmation bias so they tell more people it works etc etc.
