Canesten or canesten HC for suspected nappy thrush?

Dd (9 months) has a nappy rash which is not improving, in fact worsening with Sudocrem, which usually does the trick. Red with little spots that look like blisters or pimples from reading other threads it sounds like thrush so I was going to try Canesten on it. I've got both Canesten and Canesten HC from a fungal infection she had behind her ear a few months back which to use? Or hold off until she's seen the doctor?

hold off until she's seen the doc. there are lots of other things it could be.

btw ds2 had a similar thing last week and I called nhs direct about it. I agreed to take him, but thought I'd do a day out of nappies first and it did clear up. must just have been nastier than usual.

Day out of nappies-- good idea, I will give it a try tomorrow. I was just thinking of jumping in with the canesten because it seems to be worsening quite quickly.
