Car seat issue!

I’ve been having an issue with my maxi cosi car seat when I put it onto the adapters on my pram it gets stuck! The adapters are fine and release from the pram but I can just lift the car seat off with the silver buttons like I should be able to.
I’m not in the car atm with the lock in but my daughter has her injections next week and at the minute they are still going ahead. So was wanting a quick in and out of the doctors and thought the car seat would be the handiest way. Anyone else had this problem or no what way to make them less stiff?
It’s an oyster 3 pram and maxi cosi

Thanks in advance

Different pram but i remember the same thing happening- ended up forced to the conclusion you need extra hands to push both buttons at the same time and lift the seat off. I found it wasn't so much stiff as you need to lift a bit at the same time as pressing the button down. Which is not easy and the seat would resettle on one side when sorting the other side.
So I either carried the car seat or baby rather than bothering with the hideous sweat inducing faff of it or walked places. Not a massive help I'm afraid. Sorry.

Exactly as above!

I have the same issue, although i have a different pram. I release the adaptor on one side and lift, balance the adaptor on the adaptor slot then really quickly zip around to the other side and release the other adaptor, Im then able to lift the whole car seat off. Probably not recommended for that split second where one side is left balanced but thats the only way i can do it! Hope this makes sense and hope it helps, its so frustrating!

I wasn't keen on the whole car seat on frame thing anyway. Did it once when DC1 was about 3 months old when I had a dentist appt. Dentist was on 2nd floor with no lift but needed somewhere for him to sit safely.

Wrestled with it for 5 minutes in reception and then again back in the car park.

Never bothered again. Would never advise anyone to bother buying a whole travel system with the adaptors.

Instead of using the buttons on the car seat use the button on the adapters instead on leave the adapters on the car seat.
Or hook your arm under the handle while standing at the side and release the far side slightly hold it up so it doesn’t click back in then do the side nearest to you and then lift up.
One of the most common reasons that they get stuck is the frame has been slightly misaligned eg someone trying to fold the frame incorrectly or putting shopping and stuff on it while in the boot of car.
Hope this helps.
