Argh help!! my dd is 2 and 2 months and has been dry for 3 months now but still won't poo in the potty and will only go in her pants. This is really starting to upset her.She is happy to tell me that she has been and isn't shy about it etc but whenever i ask her if she needs one she just says no and then fills her pants moments later. I've tried sticker rewards etc but nothing seems to work. does anyone know why this is happening?

Thanks

Sorry I can't offer any advice but will be watching this thread as my dd (2.5) is dry during the day but also cannot manage to poo in the toilet or potty - so any suggestions will be very useful - one thing I have noticed is that she passes a motion v quickly, so much so that I think it catches her by surprise!

Hi, no real advice either but my Ds (2.2) has been doing really fantastically well with potty but had an accident today poop-wise.
I did find that he was really scared of poop-ing in the potty to begin with and wanted to hold my hand. He still sometimes wants to do that. Sometimes he asks for a nappy but I try to go down the nappy in the potty route rather than give in.
