Answers from the book? That sounds great, lol! I assume own words, and own examples, etc.

My NVQ is driving me mad and I am behind with homework already. Argh!

callmeovercautious · 11/09/2007 10:50

It sounds odd to have a book with the answers in for NVQ. Is it a Knowledge and Understanding bit?

southeastastra · 11/09/2007 10:58

lol no it doesn't have all the answers. but some of the bits in the book make it much clearer than i can.

some of the questions tie my brain into knots

Not my area I am afraid. Have beene thinking and some courses do have guidance texts with worksheet type things. If this is what it is like then by all meas use the text but add to it, perhaps with some real experiences of your own.

Hulababy · 11/09/2007 19:12

callmeovercautious - what area do you do?

I am doing Level 4 Advice and Guidance. Had no choice though, work have insisted we do it - grrr! Trouble is on sick leave this month and will be again, possibly for another month, in another 3 month's time. And course is only a year long!

callmeovercautious · 11/09/2007 20:20

Customer Service, Admin, Team Leading, HR/Personnel and Management. Also did some Care stuff but not in NVQ. All level 2 and 3. Not working in it now as I went back to HR shortly before I had DD a year ago. The travelling was not helping with DDs conception

Might be able to help with the jargon etc though.

Hulababy · 11/09/2007 21:34

The NVQ jargon is a nightmare! Just trying to understand what some of the K&U questions actually want from you can be a minefield!

Driving me mad presently. Can't get motivated as (a) course is being enforced on me by work and (b) can't see why I need L4 advice and guidnce when I have a darn teaching degree which is all about advising and guiding students! Grrr!

Oh well. Have a one to one tutorial next week, so I really do need to catch up this homework. Have last months to do (was on holiday) and this months too (but just had minor surgery 1.5 weeks ago and on sick leave for next couple of weeks to come at least).

cautiousscabbeater · 12/09/2007 22:46

Well if I can help just ask but it is not really my NVQ area but advice and guidance is my job in a lot of ways so feel free to prod my brain! Am back at work so may not be too quick with my replies though!
