Kids Tablet Recommendations

Hi, can anyone recommend a good tablet for my (almost) 5 year old daughter so she can do some activities, games, learning etc while the schools are closed? I had a look on Amazon and am thinking of buying the ''Fire 7 Kids Edition Tablet | 7" Display''. It's a lot of money though at £100. Is it worth the money or are there better ones at a similar price? Are there any decent cheaper ones that you can recommend too? Many thanks in advance.

We have these. I think they are good for that age. You can set it up so they have their own section with age appropriate content preloaded, and you can add other things you want. So they can have free reign to use without having to check what they are doing. You can set up time limits and times it is not available.

The downside is its NOT an ipad - ie ease, speed, etc snd storage/memory is low so you need to buy an SD card

I really like the amazon fire; it’s got loads of educational games on it and comes with 2 year warranty which covers it being broken. You can set time limits where it will just shut off and see from your amazon account what they’re doing. You can also set it so they have a certain amount of educational stuff they have to do each day to be able to watch the entertainment stuff.

We've got 2 leap pads and they are great. Virtually indestructible, they have been dropped into water, mud, stood on.
We've downloaded every app we've wanted including iPlayer, nessy and games and there are loads of apps already on it.

Thank you all very much for your suggestions. I'm thinking maybe the LeapFrog 602053 "Leap Pad Ultimate" which looks good.
