I used a Tula from newborn with the insert, currently still using the toddler one for my lazy 2 year old! Bit pricier than some of the others but so comfy and pretty!

I just purchased the ergo baby Omni 360 carrier! Bit on the pricey side but lasts up until 20kg and can be used 4 different ways so figured it's worth the money as can be used for future children too 😊 used it today in the garden for the first time and it was great!

I have the izmi baby carrier which I find comfortable and so does my partner. Goes up to 15kg, they then do a toddler one. It’s around £60-80 so cheaper end of the market too.

We opted for the babybjorn air. It’s a bit bigger than the ergo carriers but folds down and is light weight. The ergo we tried you had to put the baby in then on which we found fiddly (We were using a doll though as I was pregnant) and my partner found the clip at the back was fiddly. The baby born you put on then put the baby in and tighten. We find it much easier and it spreads the weight really nicely. The mesh keeps it cool and they have a cover that is brilliant in winter months. We dressed him in a vest and onesie when out as the cover was so warm. No faffing removing layers when going from carrier to indoors or in the car

Mamaruga Zensling is my fav.. it’s a structured carrier but super soft & stretchy so you get the wrap like experience!

Izmi baby carrier is very similar but not quite as soft.

If you want a full all rounder that’s really hip healthy, the Ergo360 is a good bet. You need an insert for newborn but it’s pretty straightforward. It has a tricky clasp at the back that takes a bit of practice to do yourself in my opinion but you do get the hang. It’s not my fav for a newborn but 100% fab when they are head up & can face outwards!

Worth having a YouTube of guides to how you put different carriers on, they are helpful to see how you might find them & how they work!

We have a Connecta and would highly recommend it. It's suitable from birth to 25kg, and can be used with baby facing you or for a back carry (piggyback style) when older.

It fastens with three buckles and is easy to adjust. Very lightweight and as it's not structured as such it takes up zero storage space.

I think they're about £90 new, but I got mine second hand for about £50. DH and I have been using it loads with DD who is 6 weeks.

I used to use an ergo sling. Best sling ever.
