First shoes?

Any recommendations on the best shoes for DS who's just starting to walk? I have a couple from Mothercare, but he just won't keep them on!

You should take him to have a proper fitting with someone who knows what they're doing. Unfortunately, at the moment, the shops are shut, so you'll have to wait a month or two. Ideally, any good shoe shop will advise that he is walking confidently for 6 weeks before you put him in shoes, so you probably still have time before you need them. Warm socks and he can still toddle around outside as the weather is nice.

Will shoe shops measure/fit shoes from this young?? I'd just figured they wouldn't do that till he was bigger.

Obviously not a priority now, but good to know.
