Toys for 9 months plus? Don't want to waste money!

DS doesn't have many toys, he has stacking rings, stacking soft blocks, baby laptop, mini keyboard, one of those activity blocks and standing thing. That's it! Any suggestions? We're obviously at home a lot at the moment, and I want some new stuff for him but toys can be expensive and I don't want to waste money. Any ideas welcome!

I'd get a tray to play with water and plastic toys in, a pushalong toy vehicle of some sort, a baby doll, a collapsible tunnel, a soft ball, stacking cups and some play scarves. My youngest is just 1 and loves all of those and shouldn't cost too much.

Cardboard boxes, a hairbrush, your spoons and Tupperware, plastic cups, an old handbag, a splashy bath in the middle of the day, a pile of clothes that you can hide in and wave and tickle him with, songs on the radio you can clap and dance to, empty bottles filled with a sprinkle of rice and a few dry pasta pieces
