COVID-19 and supervised contact

Hi,
I’m worried sick about this so hope someone with any kind of experience with contact orders are able to help.
I have a court order that basically orders me to supervise my kids’ dad for his contact time, and now I’m worried because both me and our youngest is in the at risk group. We usually meet up in soft play areas or public places but everything is closed now expect for parks. He wants to meet up this weekend to play football near a park but I can’t get an answer from him about social distancing and keeping the kids at a safe distance from him, other kids that might be there, and play equipment at the park...
I haven’t been able to get hold of my solicitor all week, so what should I do? Sad
If I take them and they pick up the virus, them and me, their only caregiver, could get really sick, but if I don’t then I’m in contempt of court.

Yeah, no contact at this time unless you really want to continue with it. Organise Skype sessions or something similar.

Safeguarding your children by abiding by government guidance and self isolating trumps an existing court order under these circumstances. If you and your youngest are in the at risk category this has to be taken seriously. Hopefully your ex understands this.

I wish, but he’s insisting on seeing them in person and reporting me if I don’t comply.

So let him report you. You're following government guidance and safeguarding you and your kids.
