Vomiting Baby

My baby is 7.5 months old and started solids a few weeks ago. It was a slow start as she still was pushing a lot back out with her tongue. But this week she really got into it and and I've been feeding her 2x a day, mashed veggies/fruit and porridge etc. She seems to enjoy it.

Today I fed her at around 1pm, avocado. For breakfast she'd had porridge with carrot mash.
This evening at about 7pm she threw up all the food. Carrots and avocado. It looked completely undigested and didn't smell like vomit. But 6 hours after eating!! Is this normal?! Should I reduce her solid intake? Thanks!

Should add, she has no temperature and has been completely normal all day

Honestly, DS still has undigested food sat in his stomach if he's stick, and he's going to be 3 in June.

But you don't need to be mashing everything, you need to be offering finger food as well.

What about her milk intake?

to be honnest, if you gave me carrot mash for breakfast, with porridge, I'm not sure I'd keep it down!

@Harrysmummy246 that's reassuring to know, thank you! Her milk intake is pretty normal, haven't really noticed a reduction anyway. She's breast fed, so difficult to say how much exactly. She does get finger food too, and does pretty well with it. Just wasn't sure if I was over feeding her or something, she seems to love to eat, all of a sudden!
