Online baby groups?

Hi all! Most of my son's baby groups have been cancelled now - does anyone know of any online baby classes that have sprung up since the Covid-19 thing?

He's 15 months and I hate that he's losing out now (I know that there are bigger issues, but just trying to keep a bit of vague normality...)

Thanks in advance Smile

I know it's not quite what you asked for, but cbeebies have a show called baby club. Maybe you could find it online and join in at home?
I've only caught it a couple of times but it seems quite sweet.

Be warned if you do watch baby club that the songs are extremely irritatingly catchy.

Do you have hartbeeps near you? I think it’s a franchise. They have mentioned doing ‘hartbeeps at home’ which sounds like it will be videos of the songs/dances etc, not sure where they’re at with it.

I honestly think your child will be fine. Your own sanity on the other hand...

Really good question! Loving the baby club, and the daydreams program (more for me I think). Worried about how to keep myself sane for a bit, everything is cancelled.

Apparently our monkey music and baby ballet classes are going to switch to online!

Great suggestions - thank you! @modgepodge you're completely right, my own sanity is slowly draining away at the moment!

We did this one today and it was great:

There seem to be quite a few on Facebook if you search.

Baby sensory in my area is running online as is a baby massage class (local I think although I suppose you can join anything from home!) & Melody Makers..

Have a look on Facebook for local baby classes & im sure they’ll say if they are doing online classes and how to join Smile

In our area everything that was a face to face class has gone online, I had assumed it was the same everywhere? Others that were area specific such as Busy Lizzy (mix of fitness classes and baby/toddler classes) are online now and you can join wherever you live.

Another free/donation if you can afford it ones we've really enjoyed is called Mini Music Makers which is live on FB every weekday at 10am, or you can watch later at any time. Tumble tots also do a free session most mornings but that's only good if your child is a competent walker and mine isn't quite there yet.

Its a mixture of lots of different baby classes all in one!
Its really good.

Hi all wondered if anyone could make any suggestions. My 9 week old daughter is not settling at all she has been changed on to lactose free milk because she was not settled and seemed like she was in pain. She wasn't pooing for 3-5 days then would do a huge poo. If she isnt eating or sleeping (When she finally goes to sleep that is) she seems to be crying and not settling at all. I have tried every winding position there is and massage. I just dont no what else to do. I cant see my baby in this pain any longer and hv and docs are terrible. If anyone can help would be much appreciated

Terracottasaur · 11/01/2021 12:48

Do you have a totsplay around you? They do zoom baby development classes.

@Stephaniejo if you haven't already done so, create your own thread if possible- you're unlikely to get responses on this one as it's about a different topic.
