Maybe a blonde question but as a baby gets older do they drink/use more formula on a daily basis or just drink larger bottles but go longer between feeds so it averages out?

Please don’t stockpile. It only makes things worse.

Yes, they’ll start going longer between feeds. But it’s unpredictable, they’ll have hungrier days etc. Whether they drink more depends on your baby..mine never did drink huge bottles. 7oz was the most she ever drank at once. Plus if you add in weaning, then some babies will eat more and drink less. Some won’t take to weaning quite as quickly etc!

As my second son got older he dropped to 3/4 7oz bottles a day but I increased his food as we went along.

My first son was on 11oz bottles 3 times a day regardless of food uptake up till he was 13 months.

So I think it varies.

Depending on the age of your child and their appetite it really will vary.

Normally I would say stocking up on say cow and gate would be selfish for others but In your circumstances of having to import your milk I would say to stock up.
