Tax free childcare query

Hi
Does anyone know whether you can pay for nursery trips with tax free childcare? I assume they would never know what we were paying nursery for so it must be ok, but I suppose it's the fact that the trip is optional that makes me wonder whether it is allowed?
Thanks

I assume you can if you’re paying it as part of your nursery bill.

childcare vouchers/ tax free credits are used to pay for holiday clubs- these too are optional. Its absolutely fine,
