Car Seat Advjce please

My dd2 aged 2 3/4 is in my dd1 old car seat Britax 9 months to 4 years
The foam has started coming away from the edges so I need to order a new one ASAP
Looking online & think I need a group 1/2/3 to be suitable from 9 months to the rest of time she needs one is thus correct?

Group 2/3 seems to be from age 4 up?

Depends what weight she is? Is she under 18kg as that's the weight limit for the harness?

@dementedpixie I'm not exactly sure but I would say she's under that weight
She's quite petite
