Easiest baby sling to put on

Can anyone recommend a really easy baby sling to put on? I'm expecting a baby and already have a toddler so I'm looking for something that doesn't need self tying (if it exists!), that I can just put on v quickly and use for a newborn. Thanks

For a stretchy sling a close carrier is like a pre tied wrap.

Or a buckle sling like a connecta, boba, manduca etc are easy and ergonomic.

The close caboo is great, it is a pre tied wrap! You just throw it on over your head like a t-shirt. I did find it more difficult to adjust it properly than a stretchy wrap that you tie though. They can be put on in the morning and kept on all day.

Close caboo is my favourite; easy to put on and very comfortable for both me and baby

Another for the caboo. I loved it. I also liked the babasling for when baby was older but I couldn't carry without a bit of support

Another close caboo user here. I used a stretchy a couple time but ended up swapping

I really like my connecta - super easy to put on. I also borrowed a Mamaruga from the local sling library which was very comfy (but impossible to find second hand!)

If you want to not be tying a stretchy sling then Mamaruga Zensling is fab.. & very similar is the Izmi baby carrier. There are demos on YouTube to show you how you’d put them on!

Do you have a local sling library you could hire one from?

Second the Mamaruga.

I had a close caboo which I loved but depending on the size of your baby can only really be worn for the first 6 months or less as it starts to drag on your shoulders as your baby gets bigger. I moved up to an integra (very similar to a connecta) which can be used from new born and love that too.

Worth looking at the baby K-tan. Its just two parts and its already "assembled" for you. We got on with it really well!

I love my Connecta. I've had my 4 week old in it today, and can still use it to back carry my toddler.
