I'm in a musical!!!

Its poorly written, badly produced, often improvised and has a regular audience of one slightly unnapreciative baby!

Does anyone else with small children spend so much of their time making up songs and singing random things to entertain their baby - like this mornings 10 minute rendition of 'we're hanging up the washing, the washing, the washing, we're hanging up the washing on the airy thing (baby brain and forgot the name of it!) - that they feel like their life is a musical?

Yes! I had soooo many make up songs. And actual songs from the shows!

I still do it now and DS is 6. Also DH and DS make up songs together, each singing a line. That's not quite so much fun for me 😁

Phew! Glad I'm not the only one! Haha! I'm a bit worried I'll go back to work and still narrate my day in random songs and get really weird looks from my colleagues! Alternatively I might get 'spotted' and become a famous West End star... I might need to be able to sing in tune for that though!

We had a washing your face song, a bath song and a cleaning your teeth song on regular repeat. We also had a huge variety of improvised songs when the need arose.
