Has anyone used these ? I'm tempted to get one when my dd goes into her own room. I'm just so worried about it, maybe being over anxious 😕

Yes I had one..not for in bed tho. I used it for car journeys. It was easy to use. But attached to their nappy or trousers. If you have baby in a babygro it will be a pain if it comes off inside there.

I used the tommee tippee video and movement monitor for bed. It had a sensor pad under the mattress which alarms if it stops sensing movement of baby breathing in and out. My boy is nearly 2 now tho so only use the video bit.

I think there are a few difference sensor pad monitors now

I used this because my DP was nervous about baby breathing at night. To be honest it drove me mad constantly having to put it on and adjust it after every nappy change. It wasn’t for me but I know some people love it!

Thank you. I've looked at the sensor mats but they say if you have a sprung mattress they don't work very well ?

I used mine until DS was over 12 months (I was a bit anxious). Would definitely use again if I had another.

Loved it.

Oh, and I didn't find it a bother when changing him, because I don't think I ever changed him during the night. Didn't realise you were supposed to, and he's never been a very heavy wetter, nor had nappy rash.

Thank you. I'll do some research into to the mats and see if they can be used if you don't have a foam mattress. Might be worth paying more for the whole monitor camera kit which can be used for longer maybe !

I think they're supposed to be on foam mattresses anyway for quite some time. Cant remember how old but it could be worth checking lullaby trust website and investing in one if needed. Can pick up new ones for 25quid or so

I've just checked and it just says firm and flat. The one we have is certainly firm, it was the deluxe one from mothercare. Thank you for making me check !
