10 weeks old... not pooing for days!

Hi! Sorry if this has been asked a gazillion times before....
But my baby girl is 10 weeks old now, I exclusively fed her expressed breast milk from a bottle for 8 weeks ... then combi fed for another week... and now she is almost totally formula fed on Aptimil ready to feed formula.
For the past two weeks she has gone from having multiple poops a day, to now going 3-4 days without any poop! And when she finally does poo.. it is an absolute explosion! I’m talking right up to her neck and back, soaking through every layer of clothing that she is wearing! As if she is literally letting out the 3-4 days of poop all at once!
We have gone up a size in nappies so I know that’s not the answer!
She has 5-6oz of formula every 4-5 hours and sleeps through the night!

Is this normal? God forbid she has one of these explosions whilst we’re out in public ... it would be absolute carnage! Haha!

Grateful for any experiences/advice!
Xxx

I'm wondering if the ready made formula might be causing it? I could be wrong but kind of remember thinking that the ready made stuff was a bit thicker than the ones you make up yourself, maybe they have less liquid? I really am not an expert though! I think it's something you should ask your health visitor about, but it sounds like your dd is healthy so I don't think it's anything to be overly worried about. I sometimes gave my dd's tummy a bit of a massage to help speed things up when she seemed constipated, and it seemed to work. I do remember an awful time she had one of those massive explosions when I was with her in the park and I had to change her on a park bench. It was not good!

Sounds quite normal. My two tended to go 3 days as well. As long as its soft when it comes then it's not constipation
