Baby hair colour change

I honestly don't know where else to post this. It's just a general question. My baby was born with light brown hair that turned ginger, it then all fell out around 2 months and now he's 7 months it's only starting to grow back in. He seems strawberry blonde to me. There's definitely red in there but also some blonde strands too.
Did anyone else's bubs go through a hair change like this? I'm curious to see how he'll end up like.
Dad was bleach blonde as a baby and turned brown around 8 years old. I was auburn and turned blonde at 2 years old until around 7 I was brown.

Yes my baby didn’t lose all her hair (though my nephew did) but she was born with dark brown hair and is now almost blonde, changed around 6m i think. I was born dark, a fairly blond young child and went dark in my teens. My husband was born ginger and went mousy in childood. Perhaps it’s genetic!

DS was born with straight jet black hair, and loads of it. It all fell out between 3 and 6 months and was replaced by wavy thick blond hair instead. He had a huge bald patch for ages while it was falling out too.

Both of mine were born with thick, dark, straight hair. Both lost most of their hair. One grew back blonde has stayed that way (he’s now 8), the other grew back a lighter brown, then went super blonde and he’s back to dark brown again now! He’s 3.
