Does anyone know if you can give both gaviscon for reflux and gripe for wind?

Yes you can

I certainly did (and infacol too). I did google it first, there have been other threads like this in the dim and distant past.

Just out of interest did you have any issues with the gaviscon the first time you gave it to baby?

DS had it for the first time 3 hours ago and screamed in pain after for half an hour straight? Now unsure whether to try again at next feed?

Also - at what point would you add the gaviscon to a bottle? To the boiling water at the start or the cooler water before feeding?

I think the main side effect of gaviscon is constipation. I know DS did a lot of crying when we first started, so wouldn't be able to tell whether any crying was caused by it.

I think I put it in with the formula, but on top of it so it wasn't touching the hot water directly. Gaviscon is sterile, so you could add it at the end if you wanted but you'd have to do more shaking.
