When did you stop using the "big" pram?

Just wondered when people stopped using their "big pram"?! I've got the bugaboo buffalo and DD will be 2.5 in spring so wondering whether to send it up to the loft then?!

We've got one of those backpack carriers for long walks and one of those real light weight Red Kite prams for quick trips. Planning on getting a balance bike for spring as well!

Interested in what other people did?

I still use my bugaboo donkey, my daughter is 3 at the end of the month. Mainly for the school run, don't take it out in the car, she will walk then x

My son will be 2.5 by summer and we're planning on switching to a light pushchair. I've adored my bugaboo bee, and the foot muff is still in use due to the cold, but he's walking more and more and despite being light for what it is, it now feels quite cumbersome day to day.

I stopped using the big pram at 6 months so she's now in a chicco london stroller with baby insert and footmuff. She much prefers being in it.

It was so cumbersome getting it in and out the car and just general use. Plus I couldn't get anything else in the boot!

We stopped at 6 months once DD had grown out of the bassinet attachment. We switched to a Mothercare Little Bird stroller which is a lot easier to fold down, lighter and transport in the car.

DS hasn't been in the travel system pushchair since about 18 mo. ANd to be honest not in the umbrella pushchair at all this year and hardly last year. We've stopped taking the Tula out and about most places now. He's 2.8

Exceptions for airport to keep control of him (although not even then last time), snow shoeing and muddy dog walking as he refuses to go otherwise

I had a bugaboo donkey for Dts, got fed up with it by 9 months and switched to a babyjogger twin and used that until they were about 3.5. They mostly didn't go in at that stage but it was really handy for carrying stuff around in.

Somewhere between 2-2.5. Never switched to a stroller though. We used the 'big pram' until we didn't need one at all.

We tended to use the big pushchair in the winter, it just felt warmer especially as we had a really warm cover (Uppababy cozy ganoosh), and the travel one in summer. But we tend to walk or get public transport everywhere so ease of putting into the car is not a concern.
