If your 8 month old kept ending up in positions like this would you leave them or
Go and move them back down and onto their back?

My boy was a front sleeper too. Terrified me for a bit. However as long as his mattress meets the safety standards in terms of firmness, he's in a grow bag, there's no soft cot bumpers, blankets or toys - there's very little risk of suffocation. At 8 months as well he's more likely to be uncomfortable if in a dangerous position and will adjust. I wouldn't worry. There's little we can do further than this, you can't stay up watching them 24/7 unfortunately lol x
