Will I need a double buggy?

I’m pregnant with my second baby. When this one arrives my first will be 2 years and 2 months old. I’m wondering if it’s likely that I’ll need a double buggy or if I could get away with a buggy board? LO is currently 20 months old and I’d say a relatively good walker for his age provided he’s not too tired but generally speaking we take the buggy wherever we go. I know it’s not the easiest question to answer as every child is different but I wondered what others experiences were with a similar age gap.

I picked a cheap double buggy up off Facebook market place for £50. Haven't used it lots but it has been helpful and have probably used it more than the buggy board.

DD1 was more inclined to want to go in a buggy when she saw her baby sister in one and will happily sit in it going round the shops or to the park which saves a lot of time.

I am going to pick up a second hand one today, I waited until baby was here to decide, DS is 2.3 and we did one trip to the shop before deciding to get one... He cannot at all be trusted on a buggy board.. Maybe a more compliant child would be fine

My gap will be 2 years 8 months and I've bought a double. We do a lot of walking and my son also naps in the pushchair. I've gone with out N About Nipper Double and love it.
