Muslins!!

For my first child who loves his muslins, has a wide range from different shops but his softest ones are from Aldi, they don't seem to be selling them in the next baby event (not online, but i will check in store) and they have also changed the manufacture.

Just wondering if you have any supersoft muslins and where did they come from?

I should say i am pregnant with number 2 and would like some new ones for the next one! And i don't want to take any from my first as they are his!

Asda have a pack of 10 which are super soft, they are online only but you can order and collect from the store. I was really surprised by them and luckily my son has taken to them as he normally will only have his aeroplane one from Aldi.

Our local Aldi did have a few packets in stock left from the previous baby event but we love our Aldi ones.

I will keep an eye out for Aldi and try Asda, my little boys were bought 6 years ago but they have stood the test of time so well!!

The best ones I found were from ikea. My son still has one at bedtime 7 years later and it's still going strong. They are a good size too.

Avoid Sainsburys, I was given some in a little hamper from work & they are so stiff and not soft. I’ve washed them a couple times with fabric softener too!

I just bought some from EttaLoves.. rather pricey at £26 for 3 but they are SO soft. Almost like silky scarf. And supposedly a good sensory tool for babies as they are black & white patterned!

I’ve got some really soft ones from JL in a sale & Asda’s are not too bad!

PawPatrolMakesMeDrink · 27/02/2020 18:28

I like the Cuski ones. They’re bamboo and ever so soft.

My DS is 10 but disabled and loves to chew a muslin... we've been through many ! Aldi are the best we've found. They are £1.99 for 3 at the moment in our Aldi !

CatsForLife · 27/02/2020 18:56

The best are the original - Aden and Anais. They have loads in TK Maxx at the moment.

cookielove · 27/02/2020 22:03

Ahh thank you, i will have a hunt for all these at the weekend.

I agree with catsforlife.

So soft! The aldi ones i have from the other month are so scratchy x

Matalans are good

mollythewad · 06/03/2020 20:02

In the same boat here. When I had my little girl a few years ago the best ones I found were Faye and Lou. Expensive but soo worth it as they didn't disappear into our bedding at night. But they've stopped trading now. The John Lewis ones are soft... I had some from Tesco and Sainsbury's but they were awful and scratchy. I really want colourful ones I've found one pack but they aren't soft. Really struggling to find any that aren't £20+

I went to the baby show in london and manage to snag a few super soft ones!

One lady was selling these huge rainbow print ones, absolutely gorgeous! She had two different styles and the one i loved she was selling for £5 each as the print wasn't as bright! They are so lush! Totally love them!!

I am gonna go to matalan next week for a little look too

Does the lady from the baby show have a website? Tia

I thought it was just me that found new ones to be stiffer. I had a baby 5 years ago and this muslins are really soft, but ones I've bought this year for new baby are really rough 😬

BikeRunSki · 07/03/2020 20:20

My most soft muslins are the hand me downs from DM which seems used for DBro.... he’s 58. DD (8) still takes one of these to bed.

For less vintage muslins, i liked Ikea.

Redmarchingband · 07/03/2020 20:23

They were selling the muslins in my local ASDA last week Smile
