So recently (the last month or so) I've had some strange digestive symptoms that I've never had before.

As I'm writing this I can hear my stomach making loads of popping noises and growling (not hungry had dinner an hour ago). It is also Constantly 'churning'.

My farts could clear a whole shopping centre. They smell absolutely horrendous. I mean luckily I live with just my toddler ds but even he is commenting on it and he has limited speach Grin

The final and worst symptom is loose stools, and also occasional what I can only describe as 'leakage'. I'm sorry I did warn you Blush

I am under extreme stress at the moment. Does this sound like it could be the cause? I don't want to go to the doctor yet if I can help it.

Get prebiotics they will help with the smell and see your doctor

You need to see the GP.

Yes I will see my gp if this continues. I was just wondering if anyone had any advice first. Thanks for the probiotics tip I'll get some!

Has your diet changed at all?
Are you taking any medications, including vitamins or those fat blocker type things you get in with slimming bars/shakes?

Kittykat93 · 21/02/2020 20:26

I recently got diagnosed with low vitamin d and b12 so I've been taking supplements for 2 months now. Not sure if they could cause any of these symptoms ill have a look into it

I used to run a lot, and long distance, and have protein shakes. I had a lot of the symptoms you describe!

JonnyPocketRocket · 22/02/2020 05:49

My SILs digestive symptoms are triggered by stress, she has IBS. I'd definitely get to the GP though, especially about the leakage.

Kittykat93 · 22/02/2020 07:00

God I wish it was because I run a lot! But no protein shakes or change in diet or anything like that. I have a few auto immune conditions and was wondering if this was yet something else.
