I've just bought the car seat and it's come in 2 separate parts, it looks like it should simply slide in but it doesn't. Can anyone help

Do you mean it has an Isofix base? Have you fitted the base correctly?

Theyvare awful days by the way. One of the worst crash testing results and only tested at low speeds. I'd advise returning it seeing you haven't used it yet

Oh I see it's not an Isofix one. I can't really tell from your pic what's going on. Does the manual not shed any light on how to put it together?

caffeinefix · 20/02/2020 20:18

Return. It's an awful seat as PP has said.

If your budget can stretch a bit further, a Joie Stages is a good seat that will last.

InvisibleToEveryone · 20/02/2020 20:29

Lay the back part down so the hooked bit goes into the holes, then sit it up and they should just drop in.

DesLynamsMoustache · 20/02/2020 20:30

Although I don't think the Stages performs that well forward facing with a harness, but it does rear face to 18kg.

The stages isn't the best ff but it's far better than the cosatto
