Post natal anxiety?

I’m sorry if this triggers anyone here!

I had a nightmare that something awful happened to my LO so when I woke I thought he died. I ended up shouting his name and woke him up and my partner. An hour later I did it again because he was in such a deep sleep I thought he died!

Now I’m super mega paranoid he’s going to stop breathing.

Has anyone done the same thing before or am I just overly anxious?!

I had a dream last night that I knocked the Moses basket over with DS in it then had another dream that he had a seizure.
They both felt SO real.
I think it’s a mixture of anxiety and sleep deprivation! A bit of anxiety is normal as a new parent, I suffered previously anyway so mine has been quite heightened.
Keep an eye on it and see your midwife/health visitor or GP If it gets all consuming

Yes , used to run around the bedroom each night looking for her though she was sleeping in her cot. Used to look for her in drawers and under covers and occasionally downstairs. I still do it now occasionally and she is 9. Dont know why.
