Aptimil pepti hungry?!

My 2 weeks old DS is being fed on aptimil pepti 1 as he has a suspected milk allergy and possible reflux. Before finding this out he was feeding ever 4 hours comfortably. Now on pepti I'm finding he is hungry every 2 hours. Is this normal or is my child just a tank for feed?

Every 4 hours is an awful long time between feeds for a newborn. 2 hours sounds more usual

How much does he drink total in a 24 hour period?

Hes always been on 4 hour feeds by his own body clock, in a 24 hour period he has roughly 23 ish ounce (give or take with the residue in bottles)
I found last night he took a feed after 2 hours and then slept through for 6 hours which put him back on track for his 4 hour feeds during the day.

But they can change day to day and week to week. During growth spurts he may want feeding more often. 4 hours is still a long time when they have tiny tummies
