5 month old congested

Hi all! My 5 month is pretty congested and seems to be last forever! He breathes just fine from his nose but ever so often he grunts and I feel he has chest congestion like mucus is stuck on his chest. He tries to cough when this happens but no mucus ever comes out. I’ve tried saline spray and sucking mucus from his nose but never get much out! I’ve also got a humidifier but am not seeing much difference. He’s been to the doctor and they say he’s all fine, it’s just the blocked nose that is causing his chest to feel congested but it abit worrying when he sounds so chest congested! Has anyone gone through this, any tips? Thanks!

I've just come through this with my own 5 month old. She sounded so chesty, but never had a fever or any trouble breathing. It seemed like it would never clear up (despite the nose sucker and the humidifier), but it finally has in the past week or so. Time was all it took in the end.

Rub some snuffle babe on his feet! Worked well for mine with colds etc
