Me and my husband feeling anxious

We're blessed with a newborn baby boy who is about one week old now, feeds mostly well , urinates well and passes stool .
Although I stay with my in-laws and they're supportive,
But we feel very scared about all the newborn conditions on internet , like SIDS (sudden infant death syndrome), apnea and god knows what not.
Its tough to handle a very delicate 1 week old.
Now I am feeling like can't wait for 3 months to pass and the baby will be a lot more stable and easier to handle.
anyone else felt the same. How do you handle such anxiety

It is overwhelming at first but there are two of you to share the load. Go from day to day , enjoy your baby, and stop looking at the internet would be my advice. We all feel the same.

Everyone feels pretty overwhelmed at first. Agree that you probably need to stop reading things in the Internet, it doesn’t sound like it’s helping you at all.

SIDS is fairly rare, especially if you follow the sage sleeping guidelines. Were you given this leaflet from UNICEF?

Congratulations too Thanks
