Making formula with bottled water

Our water is really cloudy this morning, we use the Tommy tippee prep machine to make bottles but don't want to use the water, is it ok to boil and let cool down or use bottled water? We use anti reflux formula so can't use premade.

I don’t think it is advised due to the salt content being higher than in tap water. Some brands are better than others so if you do do this maybe look for one with the lowest level of sodium chloride (i think that’s the mineral that potentially causes the issue).

What’s up with your water supply?? Is there a problem in the area? Will it be sorted soon? Can you drink it?

It's really cloudy, not sure if it's because of the weather. I wouldn't drink it you can't see through it. Confused

Does it clear if you let it settle for a while? A lot of the time, seemingly cloudy water just has lots of very tiny air bubbles. Bottled water that is safe for babies usually has a little baby logo on the label. Brands like evian are fine.

If you’re using the prep machine then I’d carry on using that despite the cloudy water. We had an issue with our water supply once and looked into the filter that the prep machine uses - it makes even bacterially contaminated water safe to drink.

I'd boil and cool and see if that clears it then use that I ntbe prep

It's been a burst pipe. Seems to be running clear now, panic over.
Thanks for all the quick reply's good to know for future reference!
