Ideas for window safety please...

Anyone else have a climbing mad child? Had a massive scare tonight & wondering if there are gadgets that will only let a window open so far...or anything similar

Yeah you can get brackets from DIY stores and screw them into the window frame. What are your frames made of - tis easier with wood TBH but possible with PVC too.

Alternatively window locks are cheap and effective if you don't mind having them shut (we're coming into the cold season you know and your child will have grown out of it by the time the sun comes out again).
