19 month old speech

My 19 month old DS can say about 30 words (although only I can understand a lot of them!), however they are all very similar as he has a limited range of consonant sounds - B, M, G, P, Y and SH. He can’t say “daddy” or “dog” for example as he can’t make the D sound yet. Is this normal at his age? I know they are all different but my friends’ children who are the same age have a much wider range of letter sounds. Thanks.

Sounds pretty normal to me but you can check their progress here Smile
