Is any potty better than another?

I'm just thinking ahead to when DS will start potty training, and I want to buy one so he can start getting used to it. Not ever having done this before I was just wondering, are they all the same, or is any one better than the others? Thanks.

no just go for cheap bog standard one and put one on each floor of the house

Just make sure that they are big enough. Mine were all quite late training and I bought a baby one by mistake - tiny little seat which was the cause of much whingeing and wriggling.

agree, get a cheap one they are only going to peee in it (hopefully) but I got a big orange car one for ds, and it prevented willys poking out the top and wee going everywhere, but he couldnt sit on it with pants or trousers still on.It was a JANE potty, spanish make I think.
