When did you drop 10/11pm feed?

Does baby need to have started solids etc to drop this feed?

4mo usually has bottle and bed 7ish, we wake her for 11pm feed and then she will sleep until 7ish.

Last night she ended up having bottle 8ish and went down about 9pm and slept through until 7:30am so I am wondering if she’s old enough to do 7 - 7 with no feed?

What are your experiences please?

We stopped later than I think we could have - around 8 months, when I weaned him off breast milk onto formula (and he was well on the food train by this point too).

My advice would be if she isn’t waking up for the feed, and isn’t waking up super early starving, test it out.

My boy started to not be interested in the morning feed, plus was more annoyed at being woken at 10pm, than happy for the feed, when we stopped.

We were scared to stop it though because it’s almost like a reset button to get them through if they’re stirring after bedtime, but he didn’t miss it at all.

Thanks for the advice! I’m going to give it a go tonight. Hopefully I won’t be up at 5am with her but we can always revert back!
