How can there be so many colds? Bloody nursery?!

Dc has another cold. This has been constant since September. How is this possible? Takes up to two weeks to get over it (usually has high temp, lots of snot, sore throat, sore ears, sometimes vomiting... then a cough)
Finally gets back to nursery, and within two days has caught ANOTHER cold! How many of them are there?! Shouldn't you be immune at some point?

Is it his first winter in nursery? Our first winter was rediculous. Literally cold after cold after cold. And she never stopped coughing. Our DD was just ill from November-March! Not a fun period! She only went to nursery one day a week at that point as well..

We’ve just gone through most of winter no.2 and it’s been SO much better. Just a couple heavy colds, the odd more minor cold & a few days coughing. The difference has been night & day! And she attends twice a week now as well, so double opportunity to catch the germs! She has picked up chicken pox this winter too but that could come anytime!

It will get better as we head into spring/summer! But I feel your pain!

Cold viruses mutate all the time meaning immunity is impossible 😫

Sounds much like our experience at the moment (first winter!) :-(
