Hi,

I am expecting my second DC in April, DD1 will be 3 nearly 4 when baby arrives. I plan on breastfeeding and remember with DD1 she was attached to me constantly in the beginning so I am looking for ways to help DD1 not feel jealous in the early days. A friend suggested I make a special box filled with toys for DD1 to get out only while baby is feeding. So I'm just looking for recommendations of little things that will keep her entertained/interested. Anything she can play with pretty independently? So far I have a busy book, some my little pony's, a few puzzles. TIA

Have you got a little table where she could do things like play doh or puzzles?

A doll might work to Smile

Fuzzy felt
Lacing cards
Beads and string
Little Live Pets - the light up birds or the butterflies aren’t too expensive and the OMG pets are cute too.
Crayola washimals
Tea set
Polly pocket

Thank you all. These are great suggestions. Especially love the look of the little live pets. I'd never heard of those. Thanks again!
