which area to shift for a good state school

Hello mums,
we're currently in HK and planning to shift to London in July.My son will be 3 years old in July.I wanted to know which area shall I move to for a better state school keeping in mind that I want him to go to Nursery asap before Reception.Additional info-My husband's office will be in Moorgate.
please kindly pour in your suggestions for opportunities in better state school and not so far from central London as well.Thanks in advance!

By July school nursery places will have been offered for September. In our area mid Jan is the deadline for nursery applications.
